Danielle Flatt

Board Member

My name is Danielle Flatt. I am a mother of 3 children, Madison who was at Morningside and is now at WIS, Theo who is currently at Morningside, and Freddie who is looking forward to starting early 2027. I work as a project manager at a local engineering consultancy. As a family, we really love the school, its welcoming environment, the amazing opportunities available to our tamariki, and the caring teachers who have helped nurture their learning. I have been involved in 3 committees for Whangārei Parents Centre, Avenues Educare, and currently volunteering in the Woman in Infrastructure Northland committee. I believe this experience in addition to my role as a project manager and my interest in the school community's well-being makes me the right candidate for a role on the Morningside School board.
